| Things have finally chilled down. I suppose enough of my shining personality came through so that the stable has thinned to the appropriate number.

| COLLEGE TASTES LIKE SAWDUST AND POPSICLES. THE GRAPE KIND | | |
| I find this week before moving to college to be somewhat underwhelming. I suppose I am waiting for something BIG to happen that will put a big watermark on the whole thing so that i can think back and say "Yep, that was the genuine article." So far it's just comprimised of a lot of william faulkner run on sentences with the occasional period consisting of me putting whatever chemicals i can get inside my body and then proceeding to do my best Hunter S. Thompson impression complete with a few " We can't stop here! This is bat country!" moments. I want something big. I want a teen comedy party where everything comes to a fork in the road and everyone's cumalitive stories come into collision like an L.A. highway wreck and everyone walks away with some life lesson learned or eternal happiness. I'm looking for a big exclamation point at the end of the paragraph of misconstued actions and words that this summer became. Thing is this ain't no teen comedy folks, this is the real, and in the real you've got to exhibit some serious carpe diem style attitude for that kinda shit to happen, and i'm not able to see any of the ques if there are any, making me more eager for that card "exit, stage life."
I've decided that it's time to get back in the boyfriend saddle and ride that horse called commitment. One of those tame mares that go slow but comfortably and make for a nice day of relaxation. I got a feeling however, that I have to get on one hell of a wild bronco that will totally flip my lid and show me what's what before that will happen, and i'm just eager to have something to do.
I'm also ready to get out of this roach motel of a town, cause folks that come here, they check in, but they don't check out. They call Tupelo a certified retirement community, which pretty much is a big old sign saying "come here if you're ready to die." I'm waiting for the wall that this place has around it to fall away like melted glass in front of me.
BIG EXCLAMATION POINT
